What is the A.C.T. Fund?

The purpose of the ACT Fund is to provide funds for the hiring of classroom aides (ACT aides) to assist in the classroom.  ACT aides assist the teachers in many ways such as reinforcing the instruction taught in the classroom and providing additional attention and personalized instruction to students as needed.

Benefits of A.C.T. Aides Include:

• Assist teachers during classroom instruction

• Provide temporary coverage for teachers during emergencies and/or scheduled meetings which avoid interrupting other classes for coverage of these students

• Provide small group instruction geared to ability level

• Help reduce the student/teacher ratio
